Office Manager
St. Catherine is a growing church with an active ministry and event calendar. This is an office-based position – 5 days a week. The Office Manager is integral in coordinating the day-to-day activities and facilitating effective communications between Clergy, staff, parishioners and Parish leadership.
The Role & Responsibilities –
(1) Provide general oversight to maintain administrative operations of the Church Office.
- Assist in receptionist responsibilities & answering parish emails.
- Manage ongoing agreements with tenants and vendors.
- Actively sell facility usage agreements for events, weddings etc.
- Coordinate events, memorials, funerals, weddings and other Church activities.
- Manage master - Clergy/Staff/Ministry calendar.
- File all records, order church/office supplies, coordinate church mailings and assist Accountant in all bill pay matters.
- Maintain Church database for record keeping and report generation.
- Support new staff hiring and training.
- Execute staff payroll, timecards and support annual reviews.
- Ensure staff reports are completed and distributed in timely manner.
- Set weekly staff meeting agenda.
(2) Oversee and support the responsibilities of the Custodian in maintaining the church facilities.
(3) Liaison between Parish Council (Church Board) and Staff and support in preparation and execution of monthly meetings.
- Print, prepare and file meeting documents and signed minutes.
- Execute mailing for General Assembly and Parish wide communications.
- Assist Parish Council President and Priest in annual elections, Metropolis requirements, facility insurance renewals, annual program participation and ongoing activities.
Necessary Skills & Experience –
- 5 years office/business management
- Friendly and patient with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Facility, event coordination and execution experience
- Self-starter mentality
- Able to effectively manage and coach others.
- Comfortable with technology – G-suite, database management, applications.

Pay: $55,000.00 - $63,000.00 per year
